You may have heard of affirmations or maybe you are brand new to them! They are part of everyday routine. We added a Daily Affirmations Workbook to help you add them to your routine. Below is an example of my daily affirmations I say to myself:
Affirmations allow me to create a better headspace even when the outside world is chaotic.
Here are 3 reasons why you might want to implement affirmations into your daily routine.
- Self Soothing: Affirmations are a way of verbalizing what I want in my life and a way of self-soothing. It’s a way to tell myself that I am doing a good job, that I am worthy of what I want in life, and that it is safe for me to want these things. This gives power to the belief that I can achieve these goals and that the limiting beliefs I have are not my truth.
- Pattern Interrupting: Do you ever have thoughts that make you spiral into a loop of negativity? I know I do. Affirmations are a way for me to interrupt the spiral.
- Fun: Honestly, it’s kinda fun to write down what I want from life! I use affirmations in conjunction with goal-setting and it helps me visualize and verbalize what I want most in that season of life.
