Over the years, I have picked up little tips and tricks for creating better detail photographs for my clients. Planners have reached out to me because of my details photos, and I have had clients hire me because of my details photos. It that important that you elevate this part of your repertoire of skills.

So a few years ago, I made a list of all the items I wanted to have in my styling kit and started purchasing an picking up the items. I started accumulating ribbon, ring boxes, and other items and decided it was time to get organized. I now have a complete kit that goes with me to every wedding including our destination events!

If you want to create images like the one below, you’ll need to start your own styling kit bag.

I suggest having these key items and then adding on from there:

  1. Styling Mats/Boards. I personally use Heirloom Bindery Boards.
  2. Canvas Bag to carry and organize everything. I like this one.
  3. Acrylic Blocks. No need to buy expensive ones. These do the trick.

When you buy through our links, we may earn money from our affiliate partners.

Want my full styling kit list for FREE? You’re in luck, I created a whole checklist for you to start your own styling kit. You can grab that HERE.

I’d love to hear how your styling kit is coming together! Leave me a comment and tell me what is in your dream styling kit.
