In a season of change, love stays constant. We had the honor of capturing a microwedding for the lovely Emily and Garrett this past weekend. Their original plans may have been altered but they still celebrated their marriage on a beautiful day in May surrounded by their families.

We loved working side by side with Susan Rutenburg, who designed and planned the event, and In Bloom who provided a beautiful bouquet for Emily and boutonniere for Garrett. Carlton’s served delicious food and both the mother of the bride and mother of the groom added special details to the day. Garrett’s mother, Pam, set up a live stream for friends and family to watch the ceremony! Which was unique and so special to everyone who could not physically be there. Pam also enlisted some family friends decorate the mantle and staircase in draping and florals as a surprise for Emily and Garrett. Emily’s mother, Laura, gave Emily a locket with her grandparent’s portraits to tie to her bouquet and the cake table was decorated in a lace cloth made from Laura’s wedding dress.

Emily and Garrett, it was wonderful to work with you and your families! Your love for each other and commitment to finding the joy in everything is something I admire about you both.
