When Vasuda booked me for their engagement session, I was overjoyed! We scheduled the portrait session and their style and concept consultation for early Fall. At the style and concept consult, Vasuda showed me a few ideas of outfits she wanted to wear for the session. A sari for her, and a suit for Kyle with a change into a little black dress for her. They are having a beautiful Indian fusion wedding at Burritt on the Mountain next summer, so she wanted to have that reflected in their portraits.
The session could not have been more perfect! We started in downtown Huntsville in front of the iconic purple doors of First United Methodist Church and strolled along Greene street. Then, we hopped in the car and headed to Monte Sano to finish up our session with their puppy, Luna. I am a big fan of dogs, so having a puppy along for the session made my day so much sweeter. The session ended with laughter and high fives.
A week later, Kyle and Vasuda came over for their ordering and reveal session at my studio to view their portraits for the first time. It was a joy to see them again and they loved their photos so much. They will be enjoying a portfolio box of matted prints and some gorgeous metal wall art in their home from their session.
Enjoy my favorites from their session!
