Hannah and CJ’s Barn at Wateroaks Farm wedding will be one that I talk about for many years to come! It was such a blessing to be part of and I loved every minute of their wedding day. I’ve known Hannah since we were in elementary school. In fact, we have quite a few photos of us at birthday parties and school functions from our childhoods. To see her marrying the love of her life made my heart so happy. Hannah and CJ started dating in high school, and they were made for each other. He knows how to make her laugh and she brings out the best in him. It’s truly a beautiful thing to watch them interact.
Their wedding day began bright and early on a sunny Saturday in March. Hannah’s sweet bridesmaids kept her company while she had a talented team of hair and makeup artists working around her. The bridesmaids made Hannah a memory keepsake book that had everyone tearing up. I met up with CJ and his groomsmen for some portraits and listened to them jam on a guitar in the grooms’ suite down the hallway. In the early afternoon, Hannah and CJ shared their first look and exchanged love letters.
One of my favorite moments during the day was during family portraits. Hannah’s grandpa walked up for his portrait and congratulated the newlyweds. It was such a tender and genuine moment, and it is a treasure of a photo. The reception was a blast and filled with gorgeous floral arrangements from McLean’s Florist and signage from Neese’s Creations.
The whole wedding day was absolutely magical, but being able to see quite a few of my childhood and high school friends was a delight! You may see your picture in the reception portion because I saw so many familiar faces during the night!
Thank you to these incredible vendors for making this day possible!
