Anna Catherine and Michael were married the day after Hurricane Nate rolled through the Gulf Coast. They had their sweet ceremony at the Old Christ Church of Pensacola and celebrated their marriage with a reception at 5Eleven. We were on pins and needles watching the storm move through the area. I actually came out a day early to wait the storm out in a hotel room so I would be closer to the wedding if anything were to change with the venue. When we woke up on Sunday morning, it was a beautiful day with glowy light and a slight breeze.
Anna Catherine and Michael dated for almost 10 years!! We all went to high school together, so it was a huge honor and a blessing to see my friends get married. I love their love story. One of my favorite things Anna Catherine said about their relationship is that they are best friends and they walk through life together. They’ve been through middle school, high school, college, and beyond. I LOVED Anna Catherine’s vision for her wedding day: elegant, timeless, sentimental, and joyful.
The day began at a condo in Pensacola Beach. They met at the church to share a first look with one another with a sweet exchange of gifts. There were a lot of tears on wedding day(y’all I cried during the reception when she danced with her 90 year old grandmother), but they everyone could feel the love between this amazing couple.
I am so excited to share these images with you! There are so many sweet moments!
I hope you enjoy their wedding blog!!
